Violinist YUSUKE SHIRAO started to play the violin at the age of 6.
• Specialty:
He provides lessons for violin, viola, and double bass.
He highlights the unique characteristics and roles of these related string instruments.
• Background:
He is a graduate of the Toho Gakuen School of Music and the Toho Orchestra Academy then went on to study in Germany to take lessons from professor of Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln.
• Award:
He was the recipient of a special prize in the string instrument category at the 12th Japan Performers Competition.
• Professional Work:
He regularly performs with professional orchestras in the Tokyo area and also serves as a string instrument trainer for the Umegaoka Junior Orchestra.
